I loved every moment of this session. This family is so genuine and we all had so much fun. Anna and Karan are wonderful parents, and it’s really reflected in their two adorable children. The kids LOVED my singing, which is kind of hilarious, because Lilah always asks me to “Please stop singing, Mama.”
I’m going to share something today, that I haven’t even shared with Anna yet, at the risk of sounding like a crazy person. It’s just too good of a story not to share. About a year ago, I was shopping for paint in Benjamin Moore with Lilah and Amelia. This beautiful woman walked in with the most incredible hair, and the most adorable little boy I had ever seen. I wanted so much to walk over to her and hand her my card, but I’m not really one for self promotion and I can never work up the nerve to approach a stranger and say, “Hey, I’m Sarah. I would love to photograph you. Here’s my card.” Later, I told my mom about this cute little boy and his stunning mother, and how I would have loved to photograph them.
That mom is Anna, and her son is Little Mr. S. I almost blurted this story out at the session when Anna stepped out of her vehicle and lo and behold, it was the lady from the paint store! It was a completely serendipitous coincidence that Anna booked me to photograph her family.
Anna and Karan also have an incredibly adorable five year old, Miss L. who completely melted my heart with her shy little smile and deep, dark eyes. She was so sweet. I don’t know how Daddy ever says “no” to her.
Anna and Karan, thank you so much for choosing me to capture these moments. Everything about this session was perfect. The light. The giggles. The love.
beautiful pictures Sarah! beautiful family!
