This was an impromptu ten-minute session with my girls. We had been gardening all day and I didn’t even bother to clean them up or change their outfits. Sometimes I can’t believe that I’ve got two little girls, now. Two little girls with painted toenails and steadfast opinions. Two little girls who will wear nothing but dresses, but still insist on playing in the dirt.
It has been a privilegeĀ to watch them grow before my eyes. Every day, I am challenged and changed by these two pint-sized human beings. My heart overflows with love for them. When I was pregnant with Amelia, I wondered if I could ever love another child as much as I loved Lilah. The moment my second daughter was born, all of my fears were set aside, and I instantly fell in love.
We are now expecting our third child, and are so excited to fall in love all over again…
AGH!!!!!!! I LOVE this and I love you!!!!! Congratulations to the cutest little family ever!!! Maybe at some point during your pregnancy we can finally do our fun canning playdate and be barefoot and pregnant together!! š
