This is an exceptionally long post, but I can’t help myself. I LOVE to photograph this family. Mo and Jay are friends of ours, and trusted me to take their photos when I was just starting out as a photographer. Their youngest, L., was only a year at the time – and now he is this talkative, handsome four year old man. When I got home after this session, Mike and I went through the post view on my camera, and I asked, “Why do I LOVE these images so SO much?” And he replied, “It’s the love.”

Mo and Jay, it really is the love. I hope I was able to capture even the tiniest bit of what is already there…

p.s. Thanks for bringing the delicious raw vegan lasagna for dinner (and convincing Mike that he can actually fill his belly with vegetables!)
