I photographed Miss M.’s family a few weeks ago while she was still in her mama’s belly. She has got to be one of the cutest newborns I have ever photographed. I can’t get over those little cheeks. Genevieve and Sean, congratulations on your new arrival. She is so perfect! It has been a pleasure to watch your family grow from a family of three to a family of four. You are so blessed to have two lovely little girls! They’re going to be the best of friends as soon as Miss I. realizes that her new little sister is not going anywhere, that is! It took Lilah a few months to adjust, but just this week, I had to move their car seats beside each other because Lilah wanted to hold Amelia’s hand.

Lilah: “Need to hold Mila’s hand, Mama. Lilah so ‘cited (excited) to hold her sissy’s hand! Lilah make her little sissy so so happy.”

I realized that I am no longer terrified that Lilah is going to poke Amelia in the eye socket or sit on her when I turn my back. It’s a great feeling! And they really are going to be the best of friends. Enjoy these first few weeks. They go by SO fast (and I’m not just saying that).
