I am separating this session into two blog posts. This first part is Miss S. in her element – fishing in a pair of overalls. I really, REALLY want to blog part two (Miss S. dressed incredibly G-I-R-L-Y), but I’m going to wait and do a different post of those photos soon! You won’t believe it’s the same girl! Miss S. is eight years old. One minute she looks eight, the next she looks fourteen. I photographed Miss S. with her Mommy last year and I remember thinking the same thing. This child is SOOO much fun! I didn’t want the session to end. We ate jelly beans out of a mason jar (and agreed that “root beer” are the BEST flavoured jelly beans), escaped from a coyote (I really think it was a stray cat), got the fishing line tangled up in some brush (again and AGAIN!), and saw several different birds (among them a blue jay and a red-winged-blackbird).
One thing we didn’t do was catch one single fish…
